Freeware programming language - IDE alert: 'Processing'

Well, boys and girls, it is almost bed time. I know I haven't posted in a while, but life's been pretty busy - in a rewarding way - lately.

And in order to manage life's challenges in a more efficient manner, your favourite engineer has been looking for an user friendly programming language geared towards creating  graphically-rich web applets. A free download. That goes without saying.

And seems like we found it! It's called 'processing' and in essence it is a simplified version of Java. But one that includesa rich library of drawing and scripting functions, and lots of tools to make your life easier, like optional simplified programming mode, where each instruction is immediately executed and  simplified or full featured 2d and 3d drawing modes.

Get it at www.processing.org

Disclaimer: This is a spur of the moment post, driven by thee xcitement of finding this gem.

As I play more with this I will let ya'all know how good it really is.
